Make Your Own Future:

  • Refine your breathing

  • Develop orofacial muscle awareness

  • Improve tongue strength and posture

  • Use proper chewing and swallowing techniques

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy is designed to achieve four functional goals and restore optimal breathing through a series of exercises focused on the muscles of the mouth, face, head and neck.

The first visit will be a 90-minute secure tele-health comprehensive evaluation. Prior to this visit you will receive a client portal log-in where you need to submit photographs and complete a health history. We will then discuss observations, dysfunctions and potentially contributing conditions, then explain how myofunctional therapy will be able to help them.

Therapy sessions are every 2-3 weeks and are between 30-45 minutes. They are done virtually through a secure tele-health system. During sessions, you will be given passive and active exercises that you are expected to perform for therapy to be successful. Therapy length can range from 3-12 months, depending on your or your child’s individual needs.

Costs: During your comprehensive exam you will receive a quote for your therapy and estimated length of treatment. A pay-in-full discount as well monthly payments plans are available. I do not work with dental or medical insurance, however, I do accept funds from HSA and FSA accounts.

Other Providers: often times myofunctional therapy is a team approach to your underlying challenges, we will often work with other health care providers to accomplish your goals. Other providers may include dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, ENT, SLP, OT, or sleep specialists depending upon your or your childs’ specific needs.
